iPhone 12 Leaks Reveal Revamped Design Like iPhone 4 And Smaller Notch

The whole COVID-19 pandemic has drastically affected the world, and this includes the tech industry. Products are getting delayed, events are getting cancelled and situations are getting worse day after day.

However, that doesn¡¯t keep official leaksters from telling us what cool features the iPhone 12 will have in store for us.

Bloomberg has got hands on a few cool leaks that tell us what we can expect from Apple this year. Starting with the iPhone, leaks have confirmed claims by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo about a flat-edged iPhone 12 -- similar to the design cues on the iPhone 4. The aesthetics will be similar to the current generation iPad Pro, with steeply curved edges that will refresh the device¡¯s aesthetics while bringing an essence of nostalgia.

While there weren't any images to go with the leak, Phonearena did a beautiful job of showing us what it could look like.

According to the report, two iPhones are expected to have this revamped chassis design -- which indicates that the top tier iPhone 12¡¯s might be getting this trim, with the basic variant -- similar to the iPhone 11 might stick with iPhone 11¡¯s design.

Moreover, the report has also stated that there will be two varieties of the base-variant iPhone 12, which will be a first of its kind from Apple.

Another major change expected in this year¡¯s iPhone¡¯s aesthetics is a smaller notch. It was about time that the big forehead Touch ID sensor strip was cropped down. Hopefully, the device would look a little less dated, even though Android phones are already pretty much adopting a notch-less life.

While the biggest concern, for now, is the production, as COVID-19 has crippled the company¡¯s smooth functioning. The report hints a delay in the shipment of the iPhones and we might not see all four of the devices to ship together.
