Apple has a new iOS text bug that has been wreaking havoc on iPhones, iPads running Apple¡¯s latest iOS version -- iOS 13.4.1. This time, the flaw is surrounding text/characters from the Sindhi language along with the Italian flag.
First reported by 9to5Mac, A string of text using the font from the Sindhi language (which is similar to Urdu scripture) when received (or sent from) on an Apple device just freezes it.
There have been cases where no flag emoji has been received, just the scripture has managed to take down the device.
In some cases, the device crashes and reboots whereas in some cases it doesn¡¯t allow users to do anything at all, completely stops receiving any input.

What¡¯s worse, is that the person is not safe from the message even if it¡¯s just kept in the notifications. It doesn¡¯t matter where the text has emerged from -- Facebook, iMessage, WhatsApp, the result is the same.
This message is going viral and is being shared by many, so it is advisable to proceed with caution.
How to fix the iPhone crash
In case you come across such a message, all you need to do is hard-reboot your iPhone by long-pressing the power button, that should definitely do the trick.
This isn¡¯t the first time Apple has come across such a bug. In 2018, a Telegu character caused iPhones to freeze just like that, and just like future update fixed that problem, the solution for this one is underway too.
9to5Mac reports that this issue is fixed in iOS beta version 13.4.5, so we should soon expect an update to take control of this mayhem. In the meantime, stay safe online and remember to forcefully reboot the phone in case your phone freezes!
