And now, he¡¯s undertaken another challenge that is affecting our planet -- cleaning 30 million pounds of trash from the ocean, rivers and beaches by January 2022.

The new project dubbed TeamSeas initiative was booted by Mr Beast AKA Jimmy Donaldson in October, and he made this announcement in a video where he cleaned one of the world¡¯s dirtiest beaches (or so he says), in the Dominican Republic.
Throughout the video, you see them pick up over 60,000 pounds of trash for working four days straight. However, as the video ends, Mr Beast lifts the veil over his next initiative of cleaning 30 million pounds of trash from the oceans, rivers and other water bodies.

The other half would help fund the ocean trash cleaning robots by the Ocean Cleanup project that would autonomously clean trash 24 hours a day 7 days a week from rivers that flow towards the ocean.
As of now, the initiative has managed to remove 16,402,630 pounds of trash from the oceans or beaches. The deadline for this initiative is until January 1st 2022. And considering they¡¯ve achieved this feat in a month¡¯s time, it¡¯s pretty impressive. You can donate to the cause by visiting Teamseas.org.
