This was announced by Reliance Jio in a press release. The device was scheduled to be unveiled today, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi -- September 10, however, global semiconductor shortage has now pushed the launch for the device, which Jio states will now be unveiled during the Diwali festive season this year.
Jio said in a statement, ¡°Both companies (Google and Jio) have begun testing the JioPhone Next with a limited set of users for further refinement and are actively working to make it available more widely in time for the Diwali festive season.
