There's A New PUBG Mobile Update: It Adds New Gun, HDR Support, And Power Of The Ocean Theme

The much-awaited PUBG Mobile 0.13.5 patch is finally here. The update has started to roll on iOS as well as Android and comes loaded with a bunch of features and add-ons to make the game even more interesting and fun.

The size of the new PUBG 0.13.5 update for Android users is 181MB, 158MB for iOS users. Also, iOS users will now be able to download and update features in the background, which wasn't possible before.

New PUBG Theme

The first thing that you get new with the latest patch is a brand new ¡®Power of the Ocean¡¯ theme that refreshes things a bit in terms of the in-game aesthetics. Display effects on the Rewards screen, Mission screen, EZ Mission License screen, and Ranking screen have also been tweaked.

New Sub-Machine Gun

One of the most notable inclusions with the newest PUBG Mobile patch is the inclusion of P-19- The game's 5th submachine gun. The gun fires 9mm ammunition and comes with a detachable oversized magazine of 53 rounds, Sadly, it does not support magazine upgrades, so the capacity is limited to 53 rounds only. P-19 can be equipped with scopes and muzzle attachments, along with scopes like the Red Dot Sight or the Holographic Sight or the 6x Scope, It also supports all muzzle accessories available for submachine guns. The PP-19 has a single-shot damage value of 35 and a rate of fire similar to the UMP.

Third Person Perspective Game Mode

Another notable inclusion in this PUBG Mobile update is the TPP (Third Person Perspective) game mode to Team Deathmatch room mode. The Team Deathmatch room mode was first revealed with PUBG Mobile update 0.13.0 that let users create custom Team Deathmatch modes using their Room cards. The feature has now been extended to the TPP mode. It was earlier limited to the FPP(First Person Shooter) mode.

HDR and High-Framerate Support

For high-end smartphones with HDR displays, the game developers have added support for HDR, as well as high-frame-rate for a smooth gaming experience. This will come at the cost of battery life. The HDR mode will deliver brighter colours to enhance the visual appeal of the game.
