Quadro, a Switzerland based firm specialising in three and four-wheeled vehicles proves that with Qooder, its four-wheel scooter that offers unusual tilting for any four-wheeler. So much so that it puts it outside most of the legal frames around both three-wheeler as well as four-wheeler vehicles in most countries. Consider the fact that it can be ridden without a license in Europe, while US does not allow riding the Quadro Qooder at all.

After bringing an innovative design in the scooter format, Quadro now looks to bring another alteration to the product. The company has now collaborated with Zero, for its electrical drive system. Meaning the scooter which till now runs on a 400cc liquid-cooled engine will soon be powered by a battery.

Zero Motorcycles Inc is a well known entity in the world of electric vehicles. With its electric motor, Quadro can certainly improve upon a lot of aspects of the Qooder. For starters, it will be more environmental friendly. While for personal use, the upcoming quad-wheel e-scooter is expected to be faster with more torque, much more silent and more economical.

Quadro will unveil the e-Qooder in the late second half 2019. The move will be beneficial for both the players, as both will be able to enter the expanding market of electric vehicles without having to produce all of the components.
