This was revealed by Twitter Safety stating, "Some Tweets are for everyone and others are just for people you've picked. We're now testing Twitter Circle, which lets you add up to 150 people who can see your Tweets when you want to share with a smaller crowd. Some of you can create your own Twitter Circle beginning today!"
The feature is being rolled out to a small batch of users as of today that will allow adding up to 150 people. These individuals can either be a part of their follower list or not.
How would this work?
The first thing a user will be asked to do is choose up to 150 people to add to their ¡®Circle¡¯. The moment this is done, every time they draft a tweet, they¡¯ll get an option to either share the tweet with everyone or just select 150 followers from their list.
This is the first major feature to be rolled out after Musk¡¯s acquisition of the microblogging platform for $44 billion. Although it goes without saying that the deal is still months away from closing.
