The Internet can be a crazy place at times. So much so that anything out of place from the regular world is bound to go viral. Doing the rounds lately is a video of a lady in the US who tried to refill her Tesla car. ¡®What¡¯s wrong with that?¡¯ you ask. Well, nothing, as long as you don¡¯t top up your ¡®electric¡¯ Tesla with gasoline.
That¡¯s right. The hilarious moment was captured by a bunch of guys sitting in the car behind the Tesla at a gas station in the US. The group can be heard laughing hysterically as the lady looks for a gas inlet on the car. After a good 2.5-minute-long search, she apparently decides to call for help using her cell phone.

That is when one of the guys from the group gets off the car and can be seen walking up to the lady to guide her against doing that. The woman seems surprised by the information and the duo shares a good laugh about the situation.
In all fairness, the woman being clueless about the fuel situation is a little justified here. Looking closely at the footage, it appears that she was not the owner of the car and that it might have been her friend¡¯s. Around the 3 minute mark, she can be heard saying ¡°Its not mine¡±. So yes, it makes perfect sense for her to assume it to be like any other car.
In fact, the hilarious situation can be considered a lapse on Elon Musk¡¯s end, because apparently there are still people out there who do not know about Tesla, despite it making headlines around the world. Maybe Tesla needs to do something about this.
