The Unicode consortium -- the people responsible for creating the emojis ask people suggestions for what emojis it wants people to include in their next update and after getting a ton of suggestions, it has shortlisted 60 new emojis that will be included in the paraphernalia of emojis.
Today, most of us love to text instead of actually call someone. And what makes the texting experience more intuitive and fun are the emojis. The creators of emojis have made sure that they have emojis for every emotion and moment of our life, and now, it looks like the creators have brought in some more emojis to make our texting experience even more amazing.

One of the new set of emojis are focussed on gender-neutrality. These include men and women in a suit, men and women in a wedding gown, as well as both men and women feeding the baby.
Another cool set of emojis is a smiling teardrop emoji, a transgender flag emoji as well as an emoji that looks like two people hugging. You also get the Italian hand gesture for ¡®What do you want?¡¯.
There are a few animals added to the list too including a woolly mammoth, dodo as well as a polar bear face. You also get a cool fondue pot (with the Swiss symbol on it) as well as your very own glass of Boba bubble tea!
In case you were wondering that the emojis will start rolling on your phone with the next OTA, you¡¯re going to be disappointed. Chances are these new emojis will be a part of their yearly update. The emojis will be a part of the upcoming iOS updates through Emoji 13.0; probably with iOS 14, as well as Android on the next flavour of Android 11, whenever it launches this year.
