WhatsApp Rolls Out Image Editing Features For WhatsApp Web, New Emojis On Smartphone App
The new image editing tools on WhatsApp Web beta (version 2.2130.7) are a part of a feature dubbed ¡®Drawing Tools¡¯ that allow users to edit and tweak images before sending them to someone.
WhatsApp has rolled out a bunch of new features for WhatsApp Web including a better way to edit images on the browser mode of the app as well as a new set of emojis for its smartphone app.

WhatsApp Web Drawing Tools
The new image editing tools on WhatsApp Web (version 2.2130.7) are a part of a feature dubbed ¡®Drawing Tools¡¯ that allow users to edit and tweak images before sending them to someone. This feature has been present on the smartphone versions of the app however, now will soon make its way to the web browser version of the app.
The Drawing Tools feature on WhatsApp Web allows you to scribble on top of an image, add stickers, emojis and even crop/rotate an image before sharing. The tools become visible after you select a particular image to share.

New Emojis
On the iOS and Android versions of the app -- version 2.21.16.10 -- WhatsApp has added the new slew of emojis on WhatsApp¡¯s latest beta build that were present as a part of iOS¡¯s most recent iOS 14.5 update.

This includes multiple skin tone couple emojis with heart, couples kissing, face with spiral eyes, face in clouds, men and women in different skin tones and hairstyles, flaming heart, and several more -- a total of 217 to be exact. These also include both men and women in the beard.
It is important to note that both sender and the recipient will need to be on the beta version of the app to see the new emojis. Hopefully, these would soon be rolled out for users on stable builds of the app.
