Design and Display
The Boult Crown R Pro sports a circular dial in a zinc alloy metallic frame and a rotating crown and a button on the right side for easy navigation of the menu options. It comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED always-on display with 600 nits of brightness, making it ideal to use even in the most sunny settings. But there's no provision for automatic brightness, so you'll have to tweak it manually.

I had the chance to use the metallic strap variant and it was mostly a joyful experience, although I would personally never invest in a metallic strap watch. Most people keep their smartwatches on for the entire day and night - in that department, the smartwatch is comfortable to wear and not heavy - weighing 56.6 grams. On the back, the watch has a plastic case with sensors and pins for the charger.
It is also IP68 certified to protect against water and dust, which means that you can immerse it in depths of up to a metre.
Performance, features, and battery
The Boult Crown R Pro comes with standard features for a smartwatch, including a heart rate monitor, blood oxygen saturation monitor, a sleep tracker, blood pressure monitoring, and the ability to track your physical activity via several sports modes.
If you're looking for a smartwatch to essentially take calls on the go, the Crown R Pro has a microphone and a speaker that lets you take calls straight from the watch.

In terms of accuracy, the smartwatch did get the heart rate and oxygen levels right 8/10 times compared to an oximeter. So you'll get it right most of the times, but if your primary usage is about accurate tracking of your vitals, this might not be the most ideal choice.
In the battery department, I was pleasantly surprised. While Boult claims the watch can last for 5 days of continuous usage on a single charge, it lasted for at least 3 days for me with regular monitoring turned on. At this price range, it's a sweet deal.
Verdict
Priced at ?2,999, the Boult Crown R Pro is a formidable choice in this price range and offers stock features that help you keep track of your health, physical activity, and vitals without burning a hole in your pocket. For more in the world of technology and science, keep reading Indiatimes.com.
