Apple¡¯s WWDC 2016 event is right around the corner and rumours are flying around everywhere. The company is already anticipated to launch new mobile and desktop OS versions, full of fresh features. Some are even expecting Tim Cook and company to launch a new line of MacBook laptops.

The event, scheduled to begin on June 13 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time (10:30 PM Indian Standard Time), is expected to bring in an improved version of Apple¡¯s Siri virtual assistant, as well as improvements to watchOS and tvOS. The service, which is currently limited to mobile devices like iPhones and iPads only, will likely make its debut on MacBooks as well. Siri functionality is rumoured to arrive in the upcoming version of OS X. In addition, Apple might also open up Siri to third-party developers, so that they can integrate the voice assistant in their apps.

We might also get a first look at the next iOS version for Apple¡¯s mobile devices - iOS 10. The new OS is expected to bring in some new teaks, such as a dark mode. It could also bring the rumoured ¡®iCloud voicemail¡¯ service, a redesigned Music app, 3D Touch shortcut previews, better photo editing features and more. The new OS X version, most probably 10.12, is expected to bring Siri voice assistant to MacBooks. The OS might have a dedicated icon to access the virtual voice-based assistant, in addition to the ¡°Hey Siri¡± command.
