8-Months Pregnant Mom Dies Saving Four Of Her Kids From Fire & Building Collapse In Ghaziabad
Fatima&rsquos family said that she was eight months pregnant at the time of the incident and saved her children by throwing them from the balcony on the street below. She could have also been saved but she fainted before she could escape the building which collapsed soon after.
Mothers are special - they can go to any extent to make sure their kids are safe and sound. A 27-year-old pregnant mother saved the lives of four of her children before being killed when her house collapsed due to a fire, in Ghaziabad on January 31.
Fatima¡¯s family said that she was eight months pregnant at the time of the incident and saved her children by throwing them from the balcony on the street below. She could have also been saved but she fainted before she could escape the building, which collapsed soon after.

According to the police, the building collapsed due to fire in a bakery, which is operated by Fatima¡¯s husband from the ground floor of their house. The fire triggered explosions in two LPG cylinders around 12:30 PM.

¡°Fatima was trapped on the first floor of the house, while her husband and his brothers were trying to douse the fire on the ground floor. Her husband said she couldn¡¯t move swiftly as she was in the advanced stages of her pregnancy. Locals asked Fatima to throw her children down on to the street. She threw all her children into the waiting arms of rescuers one by one,¡± Naseem Saifi, a neighbour, said.

Her two older children - a nine-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl, sustained severe injuries while the other two daughters escaped with minor injuries, locals said.
As much as this incident is disturbing and sad, it is a testimony to the fact that mothers' love is unconditional, and they can do anything to make sure their kids are not harmed.
