After World's Largest Statue, India To Now Build World's Tallest Shiva Statue
Sardar Vallabhai Patel&rsquos statue measured 597 feet and this Lord Shiva murti will be built at a height of 351 feet in Nathdwara Rajasthan. 85% of the work for the huge statue has been completed and it will be inaugurated by March 2019.
After building the world¡¯s tallest statue - the Statue Of Unity - India is now building world¡¯s tallest Shiva murti. Sardar Vallabhai Patel¡¯s statue measured 597 feet and this Lord Shiva murti will be built at a height of 351 feet in Nathdwara, Rajasthan.

85% of the work for the huge statue has been completed and it will be inaugurated by March 2019. After its completion, the Shiva Murti will be the fourth largest statue in the world after- Statue of Unity, Spring Temple Buddha, and Laykyun Setkyar.
Another amazing thing about this statue is that it will be visible from Kankroli flyover - that is 20 km away from the statue - owing to its height.

Nearly 750 workers have been working on the project for over the past four years. The foundation stone was laid in August 2012 by then Chief Minister of the state, Ashok Gehlot.
