She captioned the post "Alea Iacta Est," meaning "The die is cast." The phrase means that an irreversible decision has been made, much like rolling dice, where the outcome is left to fate.

She further explained her decision to keep the news private, stating, "I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."

Emphasising her desire for privacy, she added, "I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child's privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting."

Following her viral claim, Musk reacted with a crying-laughing emoji when a fan joked that "make another baby" was just another one of his "side quests."

The Tesla CEO is already known to have at least 12 children with three women: Justine Wilson, Claire Elise Boucher (better known as Grimes), and Shivon Zilis.

One amused social media user quipped, "Elon's children will be a complete presidential cabinet soon."
