Recently, the internet has been giggling over a video showing a pet dog's undying love and care for a young girl. The video, which is now going viral, shows a dog running to defend and shield his sister after spotting the mother fake hitting and scolding her daughter. The video has been posted on the dog's Instagram profile, "Momo Cocker Spaniel."

The caption for the video reads, "Sister, I am always here for you." The dog's account also has a number of additional adorable images and videos of the dog standing alongside its owners. In the video, the pet dog Momo rushes in to save their daughter from a woman who is pretending to be angry and about to hit the little girl.

To protect the girl from the woman's hitting, the dog, who isn't aware that he's being duped, wraps his paws around her torso. In an effort to defend himself, the dog growls at the mother and attempts to stop her from beating the girl. Towards the end of the video, the dog finally stops the woman from hitting; however, the video ends abruptly.

People on the internet lauded the dog's effort

Needless to say, the video went viral. So far, the video has received over 25k views and hundreds of likes and comments. "Protect kr rha h Didi ko Kita intelligent bcha h," a lady wrote. "Pure love," another added. A lady also added, "Both kids are innocent."

A lady loved the dog so much, she got a little emotional and wrote, "Rona he aa gaya papa aur mujhe to....momo is such a love."
