In the video, a man records an elephant mother and her calf trying to get down a hill in the forest. The video posted by NowThis on Instagram noted that the video had originated in Thailand. At the beginning of the clip, the little elephant was seen getting in a fix as it could not figure out how to get down a stoop hill. That¡¯s when the man filming the video is heard calling out to the mama elephant who follows the calf close behind.
The mama elephant takes charge and quickly shows her caf how to slide down the hill safely using her hind legs as a sledge of sorts. The baby elephant follows her step by step and is able to descend safely. The baby calf runs towards the man filming and earns some adorable pats from him.
