We have all heard of people with faces resembling animals. Whether it be the angular eyes of a wolf or the round cheeks of a squirrel, humans often look like animals. But have you ever heard about an animal looking like a human? A new viral video of a newborn goat has taken over the Internet as users wonder why the young goat oddly resembles a human.

Video of a mutant goat in Madhya Pradesh amuses the Internet

The video originated from Madhya Pradesh, where a goat gave birth to an unusual-looking goat. The mother goat belonged to a rearer from Semal Khedi village in Sironj tehsil, Vidisha. The newborn goat appears to have a human-like face in the video, with its two eyes bulging and closer together, surrounded by thick white fur.Even the head shape of the goat has raised concern in the village, which looks more like a bulge.

According to Times Now News, villagers gathered around cattleman Nabab Khan's house as soon as the news started spreading. It was revealed that it was the first time any of Khan¡¯s animals had given birth. As per the veterinarian, Manav Singh, the newborn goat suffers from a condition called "head dyspepsia," which occurs in one out of every 50,000 animals. The condition is commonly noted in cattle but rarely among goats.

The goat suffers from a medical condition called hydrocephalus

The condition is characterised by abnormal swelling in an animal¡¯s head, better known in medical books as "hydrocephalus." The condition arises in animals at birth when the mother has either a vitamin A deficiency or has been given incorrect medication during pregnancy. In layman's terms, the bulge is a buildup of fluid in the animal¡¯s brain.
