'Buried Hearts' 2nd teaser: Park Hyungsik and Huh Joon-ho's electrifying rivalry takes center stage

Actor Park Hyungsik is making his highly anticipated return in Buried Hearts, an intense revenge thriller from SBS. The drama follows Seo Dong Joo, a young and ambitious politician whose promising career is shattered by powerful forces working in the shadows. On January 31 KST, SBS unveiled the second official teaser, offering a glimpse into the gripping storyline.

Park Hyungsik takes on the role of Seo Dong Joo, who falls victim to Yeom Jang Seon (played by Huh Joon-ho), a manipulative figure pulling the strings behind the scenes. Adding to his struggles is his political rival, Heo Il Do (played by Lee Hae Young), who plays a key role in his downfall. Determined to reclaim his life, Seo Dong Joo sets out on a perilous journey of vengeance.

The newly released teaser showcased an intense confrontation between Park Hyungsik and Huh Joon-ho, highlighting their commanding screen presence and the drama's dark, suspenseful tone. Though only 45 seconds long, the teaser leaves a lasting impact, fueling anticipation among fans.

The new teaser opens with a bloody, humbled Seo Dong Joo kneeling before Yeom Jang Sun, pleading, "I don't want to die, Professor. Please spare my life." It later pans towards Dong Joo reflecting on his past and says, "Back then, I was confident. Confident that I could succeed in love, in rising through the ranks, in everything."

Meanwhile, Yeom Jang Sun is seen discussing the growing threat posed by Dong Joo and talks with the ambitious Heo Il Do, who says, "I'll take care of it." Yeom Jang Sun then orders, "Go find Seo Dong Joo right now. Kill him by any means necessary."

Having lost everything, Seo Dong Joo embarks on a dangerous path of revenge. The teaser ends with him coldly threatening, "Did you never consider the possibility that I might kill both of you?"

Seo Dong Joo is the head of the Public Affairs team at Daesan Group. On the surface, he appears to be the epitome of a loyal "Daesan man," but beneath it all he is driven by a fierce ambition and is prepared to take any opportunity to take control of Daesan Group. Yeom Jang Seon, a wealthy and influential professor who was once the head of the National Intelligence Service (NIS) is the puppet master behind the scenes. He manipulates key figures and controls society from the shadows, enjoying the power he holds over people's lives.
