India Meteorological Department IMD has forecast heavy showers in the city and suburbs and weighty rain at isolated places in the next 24 hours.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy showers in the city and suburbs and weighty rain at isolated places in the next 24 hours. The IMD has warned off heavy rains to continue in the city till Monday with a 'red alert' for Sunday.

1. Many parts of Mumbai and it's adjoining areas like Thane and Palghar recorded heavy rains overnight. This led to traffic being affected in areas of Malad, Andheri and Dahisar Subway.
