Day 21: Can I Dare Travel With A 'No-Plastic' Agenda? I'll Soon Find Out

I love travelling and I don't suffer from travel anxiety. Not until yesterday. As you know that I am on a month long no-plastic campaign and my life has never been so difficult. While fighting this evil was easy within the boundaries of my home and my office, doing so on a flight and during my travel can be a daunting experience.

I am going to travel this weekend and I am not sure where to begin. How much stuff can I actually carry and how big a difference will it make on my campaign?

While my steel straw and wooden cutlery will be there with me to support all my hunger pangs, how a traveller is supposed to carry toiletries? How are they supposed to dispose of things? What about the eatables they consume?

Travelling can put the plastic commitment to the test and all we need to fight this is the right mindset. I know it can be incredibly challenging and at one point we all might think that let's just give up for the love of God, but it is only through the intricacies that we succeed.

For my travel, I have planned ahead and I intend to stick to the regime I have decided. This strategy also depends on the length of your flight/transit time, but with significant measures, a lot can be managed.

1. Reusable Water Bottles

It's been a pretty stressful month here at S&P HQ! Today we are taking a few minutes of peace in the garden, lapping up the sun and eating home grown fruit! Our website had a hissy fit and was down for WAY too long. Lots of personal bits and pieces have got in the way and life has just happened. I'm massively thankful for my "Balance" water bottle!! These are some of the basic things that are going to make a big difference. There are soaps available in the market that can also work as shampoos and complete end without any residual. There are aluminium soap cases too for these soaps so that you don't carry plastic packages from here to there.

What you must carry is an organic tote bag with you so do not litter and store thing easily.
