A Twitter account that goes by the name Science girl, posted a clean version of the clip, saying it¡¯s ¡°a swirling mass of threatened reindeer stampeding in a circle making it impossible to target an individual.¡±

'Reindeer Cyclone', not until today had we heard this term. We could never have imagined reindeers forming such a rear-guard to protect themselves against the outside threat.
It seems it¡¯s a similar evolutionary behaviour to what we see with the fish. Except in this case, the reindeer pull into a tight little spiral, keeping the fawns at the centre. And the view from above? Well, it¡¯s pretty surreal.

The Moscow Times reported that the ¡°mesmerizing video¡± was made by photographer Lev Fedoseyev, who used a drone.
