Thanks To Clear Spring Skies, Delhi Saw A Rare Full Arch Double Rainbow!
Lockdown or not, April 17 proved to be quite a spectacular day for many Delhites. While most of us were stuck working inside our rooms from our homes those who were fortunate enough to be outside at the right time saw not one but two rainbows in the sky!
Delhi witnessed light showers in the evening on April 17 for sometime; when the showers stopped and the sun came out again, the sky was graced by not one but two rainbows.
Netizens who were fortunate to witness the phenomenon believe that it was the lack of pollution that made the entire rainbow arch visible so brightly.
Even though rainbows or double rainbows are not exactly rare, but witnessing the latter in Delhi is not a regular event.
People took to various social media platforms to express their awe and gratefulness for witnessing this spectacular and beautiful phenomenon, after all it is not every day that one gets to witness a bright full arch rainbow in the lack of pollution.
While most people could see one rainbow, a double rainbow seemed to have been visible around Rohini side.
