Recently a post shared by a man on social media went viral who left his finest job with a Rs 50 LPA salary to chase his dream of building his business setup.
In a long post, the man wanting to start a business of his dreams decided to shut down the venture despite raising Rs 8.44 crore in seed funding. For two years, the man made relentless efforts to work on the project, but unfortunately, it did not see any outcome.
Openly sharing the whole story, the man admitted that he has failed at being a founder. The statement shows that his failure stemmed from his being obsessed with the idea of being a founder. ¡°I wanted to be a founder. Turns out, I just wanted the idea of being a founder. And it¡¯s taken me two years, a lot of sleepless nights, and more stress than I knew was possible to admit this," wrote the founder online.

The fire to start a business of his own ignited in 2021, when he felt that he was wasting his life by not building one for himself. Further, he went on to reveal that he had a handsome salary package of Rs 50 LPA as a VP of Ops, job security, weekends off, and his life was good and sorted, but still, he chose to follow his dream.
According to him, the Rs 50 LPA wasn¡¯t enough for him. To make it simpler, he said any post on LinkedIn or podcast founders with a hundred million dollar valuation made him feel that he was simply wasting his life by not building the next big thing. He tried raising funds for his business and started building something that started making a profit.
