Chandrika Tandon, an Indian-origin vocalist, is making headlines after winning the 2025 Grammy Awards for her album 'Triveni.' She bagged the award in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category. Well, apart from being an Indian-American artist, Tandon is a global business leader and is the elder sister of the former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the Indian-American vocalist for winning the Grammy award. In the congratulatory message, the Prime Minister said it is commendable how she has remained passionate about the Indian culture.

Tandon shared the Grammy Award with her other artists, including South African flautist Wouter Kellerman and Japanese cellist Eru Matsumoto.
Chandrika Tandon arrived at the event in an Indian traditional dress-up. She wore a simple silk salwar suit and donned it with a neckpiece. After receiving the award, Tandon expressed her gratitude for all; she thanked everyone and praised other nominated musicians too.

Chandrika Tandon is an Indian-origin vocalist; she is also a global businesswoman and the older sister of the former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi.
Tandon was raised in a traditional and orthodox middle-class family in Chennai and is an alumna of Madras Christian College, according to Indian Express. As per the report, music was all around Chandrika Krishnamoorthy Tandon's life. She learned the Vedic chants from her family as her family was rooted in the teachings of the Samaveda, Vedic chants, besides Carnatic music, which was a part of her home's traditional upbringing.

Indra Nooyi was the former CEO of PepsiCo for the last 12 years, and now she has become one of the world's top 50 most powerful women. Tandon was also the first Indian American woman partner at McKinsey and was a vital part in creating a New York-based Tandon Capital Associates.

Indra Nooyi is a graduate of IIT Ahmedabad and became a global business leader and philanthropist. She also donated $100 million to the New York School of Engineering in 2015, and now the institute is under her name. Well, Chandrika Tandon is the elder sister of Indra Nooyi, and this is not the first time that Tandon has been nominated for the Grammys, Back in 2011, she was nominated for her song `Soul Call¨ in the Best Contemporary World Music category.
The 67th Annual Grammy Awards is currently taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
