'Hope Kimberly gets full custody': Kanye West slammed for releasing new Diddy song feat. his daughter North
Kanye West has faced backlash after releasing a track featuring Sean "Diddy" Combs and his daughter North. The song has sparked outrage, with many criticizing Kanye for involving his daughter in the controversial release despite Kim Kardashian trying to block its release.

Kanye West has sparked new controversy with the release of a new Sean "Diddy" Combs song, which also features his daughter North West. This is the same track that Kim Kardashian had attempted to block, but Kanye, now legally known as Ye, publicly declared a war against her. The release follows Ye's earlier support for Diddy, who has been facing jail time since last September on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
Kanye West releases his daughter North's song with Diddy
Kanye West has released Diddy's new track, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, featuring his daughter North West, Diddy's son King Combs, and Yeezy's 'emerging artist' Jasmine William.
The rapper introduced the new song with an X post, writing, ¡°LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE, a new song by PUFF DADDY feat. His son KING COMBS, my daughter NORTH WEST, and new Yeezy artist from Chicago Jasmine William.¡±
The song starts with a recorded phone conversation between Kanye West and Diddy, who's currently incarcerated awaiting trial. In the clip, Diddy's voice expresses heartfelt gratitude to Kanye for supporting his children, stating, "I want to thank you for taking care of my kids, man. Nobody else reached out to them."
Kanye West responds, "Absolutely, I love you so much, man. You raised me. Even when I didn't know you, know what I'm saying?" The song also features North West rapping, "Doing everything I wanted, that's the key to life / When you see me shining, then you see the light."

Kanye threatened Kim in a now-deleted tweet
The song's debut on his X account has led to a public feud with Kim Kardashian, who reportedly attempted to stop the release. Kim, who had trademarked North's name, allegedly tried to block the song's release. However, Kanye threatened to amend it, or he is 'going to war.'
The exes engaged in a heated text exchange over trademarking their daughter North's name. Kanye shared a screenshot of the conversation, which has since been deleted.
According to TMZ, Kanye was upset about the reality star trademarking North's name without his consent. However, Kim clarified that Kanye had given his approval at the time, stating that the trademark would be transferred to North, 11, when she turns 18.
Kim explained that she had sent paperwork to prevent North from being featured in the Diddy song, aiming to protect her. She also reminded Kanye of their agreement that she would trademark all their children's names to prevent others from taking them.
The Donda rapper then threatened to take action and warned Kim about the potential public fallout. The exchange ended with Kanye saying, "You're going to have to kill me."

Internet slams Kanye West
Kanye West often courts controversies with his bizarre antics, but using his daughter's voice in a song involving Diddy, who has been facing serious charges, is below the belt even for Kanye, as per netizens. Many took to X to slam the Yeezy founder, with one writing, "Kanye is messed up for endorsing a song with Diddy and North on it. Her mother disapproved of this, but he still went ahead with it."
