I Became Homeless: Emotional Afghan Women Sing Sentimental Song At The Kabul Airport Runway
Disheartened afghan women sing a popular and emotional song 'Sarzamine Man' at the Kabul International Airport as the flight leaves without them.
As the international militant group, the Taliban cemented its control over Afghanistan, it was the women of the country who are staring at a dark future.
When the militant group ruled the nation between 1996-2001, girls' schools were closed, women were prevented from travelling and working, and were forced to wear an all-covering burqa in public.
Women who broke the rules sometimes suffered humiliation and public beatings by the Taliban's religious police under the group's strict interpretation of Islamic law.
However, history could be repeated and the rights won by Afghan women over the 20 years since the hardline Islamist militant movement was toppled, could be reversed. Some women, however, protested for their rights and education.
However, Afghans are still trying to flee the country due to the fear of harsh Islamic rule. The Taliban has promised a 'safe passage' for people wanting to leave the country, however, women and children passing through checkpoints are reportedly being beaten by militants.

In the midst of all this, a saddening video was shared on Twitter by Muslim Shirzad where Afghan women can be seen singing a popular and very emotional Afghan song.
The song named Sarzamine-e-man means "my homeland". It was written by Dawood Sarkhosh, who is a refugee himself. It basically translates to being homeless and that is what the women are sharing.

In the video, it can be seen how these women were left behind or are waiting for another aircraft at Kabul International Airport and singing this heartbreaking song while sitting on the runway.
People on the internet fully sympathise with the women of Afghanistan and are saddened after seeing the clip.
So sad to here.. Everyone should come forward to protect those girls and children without any self interest and allow them to grow in this planet happily and peacefully..

Adverts of women wearing wedding dresses have been painted over in Kabul after Taliban insurgents entered Afghanistan's capital on August 15.
Civil society activists in Afghanistan's northeastern province of Takhar said the Taliban have ordered men to grow their beards, banned women from leaving home alone, and have set dowry regulations for girls
