After 10-Year-Long Service, Mumbai Police Detective Dogs Vicky & Henna Given Emotional Farewell
Mumbai Polices K9 Vicky and Henna have done for 10 long years and now the police department has to bid an emotional goodbye to their officers. Henna has single-handedly helped the police crack some of the trickest murder cases. She was instrumental in catching a murder suspect in Dharavi in 2013.
Nothing can beat the intelligence, courage and loyalty of a squad dog - they can sniff out things that police cannot find and help with the trickiest of cases.

That's what Mumbai Police's K9 Vicky and Henna have done for 10 long years and now, the police department has to bid an emotional goodbye to their officers.
The K9 served as detective dogs and Henna has always been the go-to dog for solving murder cases.

The report states that the dogs were wrapped in a shawl and their handlers were given a coconut and memento.

¡°In the past, when we have given police dogs up for adoption, the persons who adopted them would complain that the dogs were just not used to being with anyone else,¡± said Sub-Inspector Vinod Ballal to the Indian Express.
Vicky and Heena will now go to live in the kennels that they grew up in.
