¡°So I was laying in my cardboard bed the other day recovering and I was scrolling through TikTok and I was seeing the girlies saying ¡®Hey change your location to the Olympic Village¡¯ and I was like ¡®Oh my gosh genius¡¯," she said in her two-minute TikTok video, news.com.au reported.
Sidenote: a lot of videos recently went viral from inside the Village showing how there were no ACs given Paris' push for a sustainable event. Athletes even shot videos of themselves jumping on cardboard boxes for beds. This is what she seems to be referring to here when talking about "cardboard beds."
What was it really like?
"So I was going to take full advantage of this, like when in Rome. I haven¡¯t had this app downloaded in years, so I go to the store and they¡¯re hyping it up," she went on in the video.
¡°Saying things like ¡®match with pro athletes using our new feature¡¯ and I was like okay this must be good. I was getting excited, the expectations were rising.¡±
Much to her dismay, and now the readers reading this, she did not find any other athletes on the app. "So I start scrolling and scrolling and I¡¯m not seeing any Olympians,¡± she revealed.
She then went on to add that within a one-mile radius, she saw a "total of two other Olympians." But before you think otherwise, she wasn't badmouthing the men she did find on there, in fact, quite the opposite. She was all praises for Parisian men; "chef's kiss" is how she put it.
¡°But you know I went in with the expectations of finding some of my future plot lines but alas I guess we¡¯re searching for other forms of entertainment and that¡¯s why you¡¯re finding me on TikTok.¡±
