This Old Man Is Selling His Beautiful Paintings On The Street After His Kids Abandoned Him. Help Him Out
This artist from Kolkata is selling his paintings for just Rs 50-100 on the streets to earn livelihood after his kids abandoned him. Help him out.
The past one and half years have been especially tough for everyone in the country. Thanks to the pandemic and the months of lockdown imposed due to the same, thousands of people lost their jobs and were left on the street with no livelihood to support themselves and their families.
However, everyone has been trying to survive during one of the worst times this country has witnessed. One among them is artist Sunil Pal who at a very old age has to go on the streets to earn his daily bread.

Selling the wonderful pieces of art at only ?50-100
This is his fight to earn his daily bread, so, if you're in Kolkata, pls buy his art?@abhijitmajumder pic.twitter.com/ig3BFqiEvo
A post was shared on Twitter that talked about this artist from Kolkata who has been abandoned by his own kids and has resorted to selling pieces of his art at only ?50-100. He sits in front of Axis Bank, Gol Park, Kolkata and is mostly available on Wednesday and Saturdays. However, one can't forget that the entire country is reeling with a deadly virus and instead of staying home, this old man has to roam around the streets to make some money.
However, due to state-imposed lockdowns and precautions, he is struggling to get customers.
But people of Twitter came forward to help this elderly and many are asking if they can help him in any way.
Would be great if we could buy his art online. I can build him a website free of charge if someone in Kolkata helps with shipping, photography etc. Alternatively someone could help him get set up on Amazon. He might not accept charity but we could help him grow his business.

Lot of detail work there in his paintings ! It's not a kind of ' kaam chalaau ' work ! Please please pay him more ! Your one box of Pizza costs many times more than his paintings !

Absolutely love how the internet comes together to help these people in need. If you are someone who is in Kolkata or visits the place, try checking out and buying Sunil's painting.
