'Nobody Will Wear This In My House': Ashneer Grover Dissed Contestant On Shark Tank But His Wife Wore That Brand's Dress
Ashneer Grover rejected this Shark Tank contestant¡¯s clothing line and said, "nobody will wear this in my house". Then, his wife Madhuri Grover wore it on The Kapil Sharma Show.
The clothing brand Twee In One was one of the brands that were pitched on the popular show Shark Tank India. The brand's founder Niti Singhal showcased her brand that makes reversible and convertible clothing. However, she had to face a lot of criticism on the show, especially from BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover.
Grover dissed the brand stating that she should stop wasting her time on her brand, and instead sell lehengas with her mother. However, tables turned when his wife Madhuri Jain Grover was seen on The Kapil Sharma Show wearing a dress from Singhal's clothing line.
When Singhal presented her model on the show, Grover said "Bahut hi ganda fashion hai ye. Nobody will wear this in my house. Aap ye band kar do (This is really bad fashion. Nobody will wear this in my house. You should shut it down)."
Singhal received a lot of criticism from the Sharks on the show. However, Ghazal Alagh was very approving of her idea. Sadly, as predicted, Singhal did not crack any deals on the show and left empty-handed.
However, when Ashneer Grover's wife wore the dress by Niti Singhal's brand, it truly seemed like a victory. Twee In One¡¯s Instagram account shared a video that shows Ashneer Grover lashing out at Niti Singhal followed by a picture from The Kapil Sharma Show where his wife is seen wearing a dress from her clothing line. ¡°We love how @madsj30 look beautiful in our Twee dress at @tksshowofficial ! Thank you Madhuri, for believing in our work (sic),¡± the video caption reads.
"Thank you for the dress. I think the sharks didn't like the dresses presented on the sideboard, the dresses worn by you and the models were good. Keep up the good work and wish you all the best for your venture!" Madhuri Grover wrote in the comments section.

According to a Times of India report, the dress was gifted to her by Ms Singhal when they came to pitch their idea on Shark Tank.
Regarding the criticism she got for her brand, Singhal spoke to Hindustan Times. She said "I am used to it. Even mentors in the fashion industry said a few harsh things over the years. So I have received criticism, of course not as harsh as Ashneer's."
