Bengaluru, often referred to as the startup hub of India, is a place where entrepreneurs and investors flourish like a garden in full bloom, each eagerly searching for the other.

Bumble Swipe Gets Woman Investor Offer In Bengaluru
The tale began when a user named Eepsita Gupta decided to share a screenshot on X. In the screenshot, an anonymous investor approached her because of her high impressions on Bumble.
The conversation kicked off with the investor suggesting, "You know, you should monetize your Bumble profile. If you're getting that many impressions on it." At first, Gupta viewed it as an overstatement, but things took an unexpected twist in the conversation.
The investor launched his pitch and suggested, ¡°You add a line plugging my fund and telling founders to reach out to me if they¡¯re raising. If I end up investing in any of them then I¡¯ll give you a percentage of the carry (carried interest)¡of those companies.¡±
How Did The Woman React To The Sudden Offer?
Gupta was taken aback and responded with a hearty "Hahahahah," but the investor reassured her that he was indeed serious! It is yet unclear if the Bengaluru local took up the offer or not. She did post the conversation on Twitter and wrote, ¡°Ya girl is being offered carry because of her Bumble reach. If this isn¡¯t @peakbengaluru, I really don¡¯t know what is.¡±
