21-Year-Old BTech Graduate Earns Fame By Selling Pani Puri In Tilak Nagar, Internet Gives Mixed Reactions

After getting an MBA chaiwala and a BTech chaiwala, things are heating up in the graduate stall market. A new contender has joined the race, and it seems like people are getting their fill as she goes viral. A new video introducing Btech PaniPuri Wali cruising the streets of Delhi in her Royal Enfield Bullet has left the internet intrigued.

BTech Pani Puri Wali Goes Viral For Selling Healthy Street Food

Tapsi Upadhyay started her pani puri stall after graduating as a BTech engineer. The 21-year-old goes around West Delhi and sells her pani puri to the people. She mostly stations her stall near the Tilak Nagar Metro station.

She is ambitious about her venture and aims to sell hygienic and healthy street food, something that is hardly available on the streets of Delhi. In the video, which quickly went viral on Instagram, Tapsi introduces her stall.

She shares how healthy her pani puris are for the health-conscious. She never fries her puris in oil but rather uses an air fryer to roast them, and she even sells maida-free puris. Next, she talks about the flavouring water she uses, which is made from real herbs and masalas that are hand-crushed rather than the usually used powders sold in stores. She also sells her pani puris in eco-friendly pattal bowls rather than the cardboard ones that are used by other sellers.

In the video, Tapsi also reveals that not everyone has been supportive of her venture. "A lot of people tell me that I am a BTech graduate and I should not be selling pani puris on the street because I am a woman. I should go home and work. But I never paid heed to anyone."

However, there were also many people who were over the trend of these graduates breaking into street food markets.

One user who was impressed wrote, "Superb! Hats off that she is doing everything it takes to be her own boss and being financially independent. Stop thinking of what others might think. She is cautious of how she wishes to serve her customers¡­tasty and hygienic food all the way."
