Chinese woman sells homemade dumplings to pay husband's medical bills
A young Chinese woman's story will warm your heart as she is doing everything she can to help her husband who is fighting for his life in a hospital bed.
The woman, who is identified as Nie, has been selling homemade dumplings in order to raise money for her family and to pay her husband's medical bills. He has been in a coma for over three months after an unfortunate car accident.
The woman also has two children and she is the only one looking after all of them.
The man suffered a skull fracture
As per reports, the husband, who is identified as Ding, suffered a skull fracture after a car accident back in September and has been unconscious ever since.
According to videos posted by Nie on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok. South China Morning Post reports that Nie's videos and posts have crossed more than 2,70,000 likes. Her story is gaining a lot of attention and the woman has garnered a lot of praise for doing everything she can for her husband.
There have been many issues since the accident. Her family was forced to sell their apartment to pay the steep medical bills and also for three surgical operations for her husband.
Even though the ongoing times are very challenging, Nie says she will work till her husband wakes up.
¡°Even though there are so many difficulties, I will get what I need and protect who I love by working hard,¡± she wrote in her post on December 7 adding, ¡°I am waiting for him. One year, two years, or three years, or longer. I will keep on waiting."
Nie and Dig have been married since 2016 and were making a living by selling homemade noodles and dumplings for over two years.
