A Week After Uttarkhand Disaster, Dog Searches For Her Lost Puppies
Villagers add that it had about three or four puppies, which were buried when the waters came rushing in that fateful February 7 Sunday morning.
In a heartbreaking incident, a canine sentinel is reportedly watching over the rescue mission in its search for its missing puppies and it is said to have been breaking into howls of anguish while searching for its little ones.
According to PTI, the local residents told rescuers that the dog had not eaten anything since the day of the glacier burst.
They had even tried to feed it several times but it has always turned away. The dog was heard crying, whimpering and also howling, day and night since that morning.
