From Rejecting Google's Offer To Building An AI Game, A 10-YO Indian Girl Is Making Waves
Samira Mehta is a skilled programmer who has set up her own company called &lsquoCoder Bunnyz. She has conducted over 60 workshops in Silicon Valley which have been attended by about 2000 kids. To her surprise she sold 1000 boxes in a year that is worth $35,000 Rs 2566217.
At the age of 10, most children like to spend their time watching cartoons and playing games when they are not studying, but Samira Mehta is taking the world by storm. At the age of 10, she is a skilled programmer who has set up her own company called ¡®Coder Bunnyz¡¯. Coder Bunnyz is a coder game which teaches children all the necessary concepts of computer programming.
Samaira¡¯s father who is an engineer with Intel, already has a plan for his daughter¡¯s company. The 10-year-old and her father conducted workshops and established a company to launch the game. Samaira even played the game with her friends so that they could point out mistakes in the game.
The workshops conducted by her are really fun and so far, she has conducted over 60 workshops in Silicon Valley which have been attended by about 2,000 kids. To her surprise, she sold 1,000 boxes in a year that is worth $35,000 (Rs 25,66,217).
She also earned many laurels for this - she won the second prize from Think Tank Learning¡¯s Pitchfest in 2016 and also the ¡®Real Life Powerpuff Girls¡¯ prize from Cartoon Network.
But the best was still waiting for her. After back-to-back workshops in Google, the company extended an open offer to her but she declined the offer saying that she was happy being an entrepreneur and didn¡¯t know if she wanted to join Google.
After the success of her board game, she launched another version of the game but this time explaining the concepts of Artificial Intelligence. This is the first AI game to get launched in the market.
This talented little girl sure has the makings of a very fine woman.
