Gwalior DM Takes Impromptu Test Of Protesting Students In MP To Defuse Situation, Netizens Say 'Aise Log Chahiye'
A video of his interaction with the said student bodies and the students of the college has gone viral where he took their impromptu test revealing their poor preparation for the exams.
Several students along with the National Student Union of India (NSUI) workers staged a sit-in demanding an online mode of the exam at Jiwaji University, Gwalior on Tuesday Morning.
These students and student bodies created a ruckus by raising slogans against the offline mode stating that they have not prepared for the exams. The NSUI in protest broke the lock of the administrative gate. However, as soon as the news broke out, the Gwalior collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh reached the premises and slammed students and student bodies for protesting.

In the video, he was recorded trying to ask protesting students what the matter was and why are they protesting. This is when NSUI state vice president Shivraj Yadav, who was leading the protests started an argument with the collector.

After getting to know that Shivraj wasn't a student of the university, he talked to actual students which made him realize that the students aren't prepared for the exams, thus they are creating such a ruckus. He asked several questions related to their syllabus and figured out that they didn't know much about it.

Apparently, after this conversation, Shivraj Yadav started arguing with the collector and this irked Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, who later ordered Shivraj Yadav to be taken into police custody and sent him to jail. After talking to the university administration, collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh got the students' examinations pushed forward by 10 days so that students get more time to study for the examinations.
As per the video, another qualm that some students had was that the session began on 29th Nov and exams are being announced from 29th Jan. Less than 2 months (taking out winter break etc) of studies for 1 Semester (6 months). They wanted more time to study and wanted the administration to push the dates of the examinations.
