These Humble People Feeding Animals Prove That Being Kind Is More Important Than Being Rich
Cases such as of a vegetable feeding peacock or a beggar feeding stray dogs show the compassion of these humble people and attitude towards mute beings.
The measure of a person¡¯s compassion, humility and humanity is the way they treat animals, who can't necessarily voice their pain . Thanks to the internet, we get to hear of a number of people going all out to help animals, amid all the horrific news of animal brutality.
Recently, a video of a vegetable seller feeding a peacock went viral on social media. The vendor by the road, with a spread of vegetables in front of her can be seen sitting patiently, while a peacock pecks on food in her hand.
Beautiful video showing an example of compassion and love for the animals our rich culture has inculcated in communities. Wish it gets reinforced in generations to come.

Man Carries Water To A Dog, In His Hands
A video that went viral sometime ago showed an elderly man offering water to an obviously thirsty dog. What really struck a chord with people was the fact that the elderly man kept making rounds to the water tap to allow the dog to drink its fill.
The 19-second clip was shared on Twitter by IFS Susanta Nanda with the caption, ¡®You have not lived your day, until you have done something for someone who can never repay you¡¯.

In the video one notices that the man brings water to the dog in his hands, and patiently waits for the canine to finish it; he again slowly goes to the water tap to get more water. He clearly did not have any other way to collect water but he made sure the doggo didn't stay thirsty.

Beggar Feeds Stray Dogs
Another incident showing the magnanimity of human nature was of a beggar feeding two stray dogs from his plate.

In the video he could be seeing sitting beside the dogs while they ate from his plate. The video was shared by IFS officer Susanta Nanda with the caption, 'Poor by wealth. Richest by heart.'
Woman Feeds Langur Sitting Patiently
Another video that made people fall in love with both the beings in it, was of a woman feeding a langur. In the video a woman could be seen making balls of food and then feeding it to a langur, patiently sitting on a table like a member of the family.

It seemed like she was feeding the langur in her own house. The other members in the video seemed unbothered, rather comfortable with the presence of the langur in the house, hinting that it might not have been primate¡¯s first time getting the special treatment of being fed with love.
All these incidents show how human compassion is more important that money or luxury, it reflects on the values of the people taking care of animals.
