Talent is the only virtue that can¡¯t be discriminated against on the basis of caste, creed, religion or financial status. Determination and hard work will always pay off in the end. These companies are a dream for thousands of tech professionals and many students prepare for years to get into prestigious institutes like the IITs and many get disheartened after they do not manage to secure the job.
1. Small town boy bagged Rs. 23 crore salary at Tesla
Talent is not in the scope of age, country or any region, a similar story has been seen in Uttarakhand¡¯s Champawat, where Yashwant Choudhary has done a great job at a young age. He got his first job in a giant multinational company Tesla Giga with an annual package in crores of rupees.
Yashwant Choudhary of Champawat district has brought laurels to Uttarakhand and the district by attaining a big position at a young age. Yashwant has got a package of more than 23 crore rupees ($3 million) at the age of just 24. Young engineer Yashwant has got the job of Senior Manager in Tesla Giga in Germany.
2. LPU student bagged Rs 3 crore job offer from Germany
Yasir Mohammad, a Btech student at Lovely Professional University (LPU) has created a new placement record by grabbing a job offer with Rs 3 crore package. The computer science engineering student, who hails from Kerala will be working for a world-renowned multinational German company, which has contributed significantly to the world during the pandemic, said the varsity.
3. Farmer's son in Uttarakhand got Rs 2.5 crore job offer
It may seem very hard but winning against all odds is the best feeling. That's what a boy from the small town of Uttarakhand did. Rohit Negi is currently a second-year MTech student at IIT Guwahati and has already received a huge offer from Uber. According to reports, the 22-year-old from Uttarakhand's Kotdwar has received a job offer of Rs 2.05 crore from Uber. He will be working as a software engineer at Uber International after completing his post-graduation. His basic salary will be around Rs 96 lakh and CTC Rs 2.05 crore.
4. NIT Patna, Student Abhishek Kumar bagged Rs 1.8 Crore Offer
Hard work always pays dividends. It couldn't be more true in the case of Abhishek Kumar, who has got himself a life-changing job at Amazon.
Abhishek, a final year Computer Science student at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna, has bagged the highest-ever annual pay package of Rs 1.8 crore at the institute, as per reports.
5. IIIT Allahabad student bagged job offer from Google
Pratham Prakash Gupta an M.Tech final year student at the Indian Institute of Information and Technology, Allahabad received a job offer from Google with an annual package of Rs 1.4 crore, which equates to roughly Rs 11.6 lakh per month. Gupta has been hired as a Software Engineer in Google's London branch.
6. Mumbai student was hired by Google during online programming challenge
Abdullah Khan, an engineering student in Mumbai was hired by Google after the company spotted him on a website that hosts online programming challenges and after that, he got a Rs 1.2 crore package per year. He has been hired even before job placement rounds started in his college.
7. Anganwadi worker¡¯s son bagged a package of Rs 1.8 crore at Facebook
Bisakh Mondal bagged three job offers from what could easily be called 'dream companies'. While the choices here were all attractive, Bisakh Mondal chose an offer from Facebook London over the other two from Amazon and Google with an annual package of Rs 1.8 crore.
Bisakh Mondal is a resident of Rampurhat in Birbhum district, Mondal comes from a modest background. His mother, Shibani Mondal, is an Anganwadi worker.
8. Patna Student bagged Rs 47 lakh annual package
During the pandemic, when the whole country struggling with unemployment, students at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna (IIT-P) managed to bag job offers.
A BTech student received a Rs 47 lakh annual package from DE Shaw Indian Software Private Limited, the highest domestic offer on this placement drive.
9. Auto driver's daughter bagged 41 Lakh annual pay at Adobe.
When many of us faced salary cuts and loss of jobs due to the Covid pandemic, Rs 41 Lakh annual pay package was offered to Kolhapur girl Amruta Karande certainly bucks the trend.
When Amruta Karande got an offer, she was pursuing her fourth-year software engineering course at the Kolhapur Institute of Technology (KIT) College and here, got this pre-placement offer letter from US software giant Adobe to work as a software development engineer at their Noida office.
10. 15-year-old Nagpur student got Rs 33 lakh job offer from US
At the age of 15, Nagpur student Vedant Deokate bagged a job offer most of us can just dream of.
He was offered a salary package of Rs 33 lakh per annum by an advertising agency based in New Jersey after winning a website development contest, as per report of The Times of India.
The US company was so impressed by his work that it offered him the job of managing other coders working with it. Deokate was chosen from a pool of 1,000 candidates from around the world.
But when the company came to know his age, it withdrew the offer, The Times of India reported.
11. Farmer¡¯s son bagged job offer from Amazon
Once Avnish Chhikara had to pay his B Tech fees by giving home tuition and now he has got a job in Amazon at an annual package of Rs 67 lakh.
He was a student of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal, in Sonipat, Avnish is the son of a farmer-cum-driver of Kraweri village. His achievement, which came through sheer determination and persistence, has made his parents really proud.
12. Patna girl bagged Rs 1.10 crore package at Google
Another engineering student from Bihar has bagged a job at Google with an annual salary package of Rs 1.10 crore. This girl named Sampreeti Yadav hails from the city of Patna, Bihar and joined Google on February 14, 2022.
13. Son of electrician bags a whopping Rs 70 lakh package
The son of an electrician has set an example in the real world by grabbing a pay package of $100,000 in an American firm. Mohammad Aamir Ali, the son of an electrician at Jamia Millia Islamia was the only Jamia diploma holder to receive such a high amount.
