Not only has the movie been part of the headlines ever since the release of the song, but the track itself has been a hot potato in the media. Many have protested against the release of the movie even after the release of the song, but no amount of hate protest can argue that the superstar combination of Padukone and SRK has people especially excited.
The video creator, Mayo Japan, covered the dance of the hit song and tried her best to duplicate the choreography. Mayo is not only an influencer but has also majored in Hindi and trained in Odissi as well as ballet. The Indo-Japan influencer picked up on all the nuances of the dance and did her best to emulate Padukone¡¯s expressions in the video. She wrote in her caption, "Besharam Rang from JapanTried to dance sexy like @deepikapadukone but of course, I couldn¡¯t match her. At least I tried."
In the video, Mayo dances to the hook steps of the song. She even attached the original video to her own video to help her audience compare her dance to that of Padukone. She even has a stand-in for the few shots; SRK comes into the clip.
