In October, a video went viral showing a street food vendor making cheela with his bare hands on a hot tawa. The 22-second clip was shared on YouTube by food blogger Amar Sirohi who has a channel named @foodieincarnate.
Apparently, the video was shot in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad - it shows the street food vendor spreading the batter of the cheela on the hot tawa with his bare hands. He then puts the vegetables including chopped onions, capsicum, carrot and beetroot on the cheela as the filling. Next, he tops it with loads of butter.
He cooks the cheela and flips it with a ladle, cuts it into four parts and serves with several chutneys.
