#LetMenCook: The Trend That Has Men Cooking Delicious Meals For Their Families
Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar set out a cooking challenge for all the men in a country currently under lockdown. He posted about the challenge on his official Twitter handle with the hashtag #LetMenCook Since then men across the country took up the challenge and cooked for their families.
Even in the times we live in, gender roles seem unchanging: Women are expected to cook, work, work from home, work at home, take care of the children and keep a size zero. Men continue to get away with doing the bare minimum. That said, this doesn't apply to every household but there is also no denying that this is a reality for most homes.
In order to break that cycle, Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar set out a cooking challenge for all the men in a country currently under lockdown.
He posted about the challenge on his official Twitter handle with the hashtag #LetMenCook. Since then, men across the country took up the challenge and cooked for their families and proving that it is not just the woman who should be running the kitchen.
How about #WomenOnStrike on Monday? #LetMenCook

Women can guide others in the house, including children to cook. In some cases, it might be tougher to teach than to cook yourself but it's worth the challenge.#LockdownAdventures
In fact, all the posts expressed a sense of joy and excitement and it was obvious this was an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. We went through some reactions and hand-picked the best ones for you to cherish and maybe take up the challenge as well.

While we are living in unprecedented times, it is extremely important for all of us to make sure we don't let our mind and body stay idle for too long. While it is not necessary that we have to be productive 24/7, it is a good idea to invest our energy in things that will relieve us of any stress you might be feeling right now.
Cooking is one of the main activities people have taken up ever since they have been under lockdown since they have so much times on their hands. It is also one of the things that interests a lot of people and many have taken the task to be their own chef for a change.
Did you participate in the challenge too? Let us know in the comments!
