In the clip that was recorded in the dark, rescuers in white helmets pull out the little boy, identified as Karam, from under the rubble as civilians surround the capeless heroes. The boy is at first confused and looks rather scared, but hearing the cheers of the people who pull him out, he too gleams in relief.
The rescuers hurriedly cover the boy in a blanket as he gleams with joy. The boy¡¯s smile gives others a ray of hope as everyone there starts to shower the toddler with hugs and kisses. The joy of saving the little boy permeates the air as volunteers cheer for the child as he is taken to the safety of a shelter.
