MP Man Falls On His Head & Dies While Performing 'Naagin Dance' During Ganesh Idol Immersion Ceremony
In a tragic incident, a devotee died while performing ¡®Naagin Dance¡¯ during the Ganesh Idol immersion ceremony. The incident took place in Madhya Pradesh¡¯s Seoni district.
Naagin Dance is performed by two persons - one dances like a snake while other imitates a snake charmer, playing the instrument to tame the serpent.

The video shows a group of devotees celebrating Ganesh idol immersion ceremony and while dancing to the beats of ¡®Naagin Dance¡¯, a local youth, donning a Sari climbs on to the stage and starts dancing while another person, who is identified as Gurucharan Thakur, imitates a snake charmer and starts jumping on the floor.
While jumping on the floor, he hits his head on the floor and becomes motionless. People around him cheer for him but he doesn¡¯t respond, and this is when they realise that Thakur has died.

After this, the police was informed and they reached the spot. Post-mortem was conducted and the reports were awaited.
