Using Photos He Took Of His Daughter Over 20 Years, Doting Dad Creates Beautiful Timelapse Video
Dutch filmmaker Frans Hofmesster has shared a timelapse video documenting the transformation of his daughter, Lotte, from a baby to a young woman.
Watching one's child grow up to be an adult is one of the most fulfilling experiences for a parent. But a father made sure that he never forgot this feeling and captured it in the most unique way possible.

This father and Dutch filmmaker Frans Hofmesster shared a timelapse video which documents the transformation of his daughter Lotte from a baby to a young woman. The video of this timelapse was shared on Youtube back in 2019 but it is gaining attention now.

¡°Every week the images are shot in the same style with the same baby blanket as the background. With this footage, he creates time-lapses which show the ageing of his children within minute," the description states. ¡°You are witness to one of the most mysterious, profound processes of human life - ageing, the process of becoming older and growing up - accelerated into 5 minutes.¡±

After the video was posted on Reddit, many of them praised the dedication of the father as well as the daughter. ¡°The dedication that this took for both of them to establish a routine of this and then to stick with the routine for 20 years. It is amazing,¡± wrote one Redditor.
Another Reddit user commented, ¡°Time is fleeting. Mine is only nearly 5 and I already get this anxious feeling. I see photos of when she was a baby and now is becoming a real little person already and I worry if I am doing everything alright, I want her to have a magical childhood.¡±
A third user said, ¡°As the father of an 11 year old, this video made me feel a ridiculous range of emotion. The first section when she's a baby made me feel nostalgic/sad/happy. The middle section where she is about my daughter's age just made me happy and feel good. Everything past that made me increasingly more sad and anxious. The time seems to pass at about the same speed as the video too.¡±
