But recently, a woman in Nigeria broke all the records and cooked for 100 hours. Yes! You just read it right¡ªthe Nigerian chef has broken all the records and cooked straight away for such a long time.
Since turning on her cooker at 15:00 GMT on May 11, she has produced over 100 different dinners. According to the BBC, she has usually cooked Nigerian cuisine, such as joll of rice and different types of rice and pasta, and she has also created akara, a popular street food made from deep-fried mashed beans.

The Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has shared this news on her Instagram handle with the caption, "The outpouring of love over the last 3 days has been so amazing ! Thank you so much for the love and support."
Hilda Bassey, the chef from Lagos, has enthralled the country with her marathon cooking, which began on Thursday and finished on Monday night.
Presently, Indian chef Lata Tondon holds the longest cooking record, clocking in at 87 hours and 45 minutes, which was made in 2019. Bassey's time will be considered official after it is confirmed by Guinness World Records officials.
At 4 p.m. on May 11, the 27-year-old chef began preparing the meals for the record attempt.
On Twitter, Guinness World Records has also stated that "we're aware of this amazing record attempt, we need to review all the evidence first before officially confirming a record ?."
