On Christmas, the mother-daughter duo inaugurated the five-day long carnival as a part of an initiative by Reliance Foundation. The preview also included a character parade that featured the Hamley and Hattie bear.
While speaking to ANI, Nita Ambani said, "It is the season of joy and giving and I strongly believe that the cheer should be shared with the children first and foremost. Children deserve a holistic life perspective and it comes from an understanding and experience of various aspects of life including the joy of the festive season."
"Every child should have the right to play and Reliance Foundation was delighted to provide the opportunity for 4000 underprivileged children to be the first to experience and enjoy the new JioWonderland," she added.
The Ambanis, as usual, was looking stunning. While Nita Ambani paired a green and a white polka dot top with jeans, her 28-year-old daughter opted for a red dress.
In May, Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries acquired British toy retailer Hamleys for around Rs 620 crore in an all-cash deal, the company announced. Hamleys is a 259-year-old toy-maker company that has struggled to generate profits in recent times.
