"Mera Dil Yeh Pukare Aaja" is an emotional song originally sung by legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. The song was part of the super hit old classic movie 'Nagin' starring Pradeep Kumar, Vaijayanti Mala, Jeevan, Mubarak, and Sulochana. The movie 'Nagin,' released in 1954, was a musical blockbuster. It consolidated Bollywood actress Vyjayanthimala¡¯s career as one of the top leading ladies of her era. Nandlal Jaswantlal directed the film; he had directed another musical blockbuster, Anarkali, a year before Nagin.
