The common dwarf mongoose is a mongoose indigenous to Angola, northern Namibia, KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, Zambia, and East Africa.
According to NDTV, it has strong claws, silky fur that ranges in color from yellowish red to dark brown, a substantial pointed head, small ears, a long tail, and short limbs.

The Cape York region of Australia, New Guinea, and smaller islands are home to the common spotted cuscus. The species, sometimes known as the white cuscus, has thick fur, a round head, small hidden ears, and a prehensile tail that helps it climb. It is roughly the size of a domestic cat. Its eyes are slits like a snake's and range in color from yellows to oranges to reds.
At the Mumbai airport earlier this month, 665 exotic animals were seized.
The animals brought into the nation illegally in a consignment of live fish included rare lizards, pythons, and iguanas.
According to the official, it is illegal to import any of the species that are included in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
