A lot of people have to let go of their dreams because they don't have the privilege to fulfil them. But this man with his hard work made sure that he gets what he desires and in the end achieved it.
We are talking about Rafiq Ibrahim, a tea seller who hails from a small village in Kerala¡¯s Echome village. The 34-year-old Rafiq Ibrahim is a son of a tea-shop owner and as a kid had to struggle. But despite facing poverty, he worked hard to do better for himself.

Did many odd jobs
Rafiq Ibrahim had a difficult childhood, and at times stared at poverty too. He worked hard and worked several odd jobs to survive and support his family financially.
Rafiq sold tea, cleaned vehicles and worked as a footwear salesman for two years before his sister finally got a job and his family¡¯s financial conditions started getting more stable. It was then that he decided to complete his education.
Journey to the top
Rafiq Ibrahim took up BA in Economics at Calicut University and applied for the MA course at the Sree Sankara Sanskrit University in Kalady. After that, he secured his MPhil and his Ph.D. And now, he is an Assistant Professor at the Nileshwar campus of Kannur University in the Malayalam Department.
We often make excuses of not having enough time to read or workout or do anything else while working a desk job while here is an extraordinary man whose quest for knowledge earned him degrees and laurels and took him from dingy streets to a college campus where he now teaches.
